Chapter- 37

Lost Love

Arnav opens the gift box only to left surprised again to see the gift. Inside the box, was Toys, small clothes and his many things kept safe by his mom from he was born. Arnav runs his fingers over the contents in the box and pulled out one toy from it.

Arnav(looking at the toy): How did you got them?

Khushi: I was searching something in store room which Nani needed, when i found some toys there. I asked from Nani about them and got to know that it was yours. from that day Me and Nani used to spend time there and Nani used to tell me about you and gave me these things, first she was reluctant that maybe you'll not like it and get angry but than after lot of persuading from me, she agreed.

Khushi: Though I didn't told her that I am planning to gift it to you because i wanted it to be a surprise only for you. So i told her that i want to keep them safe with me.

Arnav(having tears in his eyes): Mom had this habbit to keep My and Di things safe , she used to say that who knows what have written in destiny, so she wants to keep these memories safe for the time we grow up. One day when we'll have our kids they will use out toys, wear our clothes than she'll share our childhood with her grandkids and if destiny wouldn't give her these chance, so these will be gift to her Grandkids. 

Arnav: She was right Khushi, Today I have only her memories with me.

Arnav(showing her the toy in his hands): This was my first toy, Once Mumma told me that i never used to leave this toy even in my sleep.

Arnav(picking a cloth from the box): This was made by Mom, The first cloth worn by me after my Birth.

Arnav(showing her another cloth): This is what i wore on my first Birthday and just like that Arnav started sharing everything with Khushi , telling her story about everything inside the box and Khushi heard everything with great interest. Both kept giggling, chuckling and laughing remembering about past.

Arnav looks at Khushi with a smile who was giggling like a kid. He never thought that a day will come when he'll share his past with someone and having a content smile on his face. He always tried to shut his past somewhere in a dark corner but today he's sharing it and Surprisingly, he felt happy, and light- hearted and all this because of "KHUSHI".

Arnav: You know Khushi, I never thought that one day will  come when I'll  share  these memories  with someone but today  I am doing it and feeling happy.

Arnav: Thanks Khushi! I never thought that someone will do so much for me in my life. Thanks for everything khushi.

Arnav: Thanks Khushi for coming into my life and when you supported me in front of Di, it was so overwhelming. I felt that now i have someone for me only after my Mumma.

Arnav takes Khushi to canopy and made her lie down in half sitting position while kissing her and his hands started roaming on her almost bare back trying to remove her dress when Khushi broke the kiss.

Khushi: Arnav ji we are on poolside, she said nervously.

Arnav: So what? No one is going to come here and whats the use of these curtains, he said signing her to the canopy above covering them from all sides.
